Suburban Bowls Club was formed in 1941 at its original site. In July 2007 Suburban amalgamated with South’s Leagues Club, in the short history as South’s Suburban Bowls Club the Clubhouse has undertaken extensive renovations to its facilities. The Club currently has two pristine greens with Bowls played everyday except Monday.
In 2009 South’s Suburban was successful in gaining a government grant to cover one bowling green, construction is expected to commence in January 2010 with a completion date in June 2010.

On the greens Bistro is open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. Wednesday and Thursday nights the Bistro conducts a two for one meal deal. Sunday is $12.90 roast carvery lunch.

Kids Club

South’s Suburban has a supervised kids Cub which is open Wednesday and Thursday nights 6 pm to 9pm.

Raffles/Entertainment

The Club has Keno and 30 pokie machines with three in house jackpot links. (Jackpot carnival, Pink Panther, Fast Lane).

The Club conducts raffles four days a week with a range of prizes on offer.

South’s Suburban provides a range of function options created to meet the budget and provide a memorable experience, the venue is capable of holding functions from 20 to 200 hundred guests, Weddings, Engagement parties, Hens & Bucks parties and corporate days are all catered for. Other options include BBQ Bowls packages which start at $15 per head.
