The 2012 North QLD Wine and Jazz Festival at Souths Saturday March 3rd and Sunday March 4th With a great line up of local and inter-state artists performing all types of Jazz, a comfortable venue, great food and wine on offer and a chance to tap away the hours with good friends, the North QLD Wine and Jazz Festival promises to be bigger and better that last year. The headlining act will be John Morrison and his Swing City quintet with Jacki Cooper. Other perfomances include Hot Mambo, Jump Jive and Wail, Shirazz and Top Shelf hailing from all over Australia and our very own Mackay Big Band. The type of music to be showcased is traditional Jazz, swing music, rock'n'roll and roackabilly, rhythm and blues and big band tunes.
