SOUTHS COMMUNITY PROGRAM
IS HERE TO HELP!

At Souths Leagues Club and Souths Suburban Bowls Club, we strongly believe that the heart of our Clubs lays within our valued members and the Mackay community. The main focus is to give back to those who need it and for those who support our Clubs and make it successful. The Souths Community Program primary goal aims to support the Mackay community and re-invest into those who contribute positively to our two Clubs. Souths Clubs supports; charities, non-profit organisations, schools, sporting clubs or those with limited resources via raffles, donations, sponsorships, gift cards, room hire, use of field and facilities and our professional assistance and guidance.

TOGETHER WE CAN DO SOMETHING
As of December 2020, Souths Clubs is committing to the Souths Community Program as a project to support our Mackay community and we invite you to participate on this journey along with us. Help us, Help the community.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to provide opportunities for people to enjoy life through various activities and recreation. We want to create a culture of goodwill, where people appreciate each other's endeavours and are happy to reciprocate with gestures and good wishes. We are happy to welcome all of these people into our venues and will be proud to call them our friends and family and treat them as such.

HELP US, HELP THE COMMUNITY
The facilities and organisations we create and nurture are there for the good of all those who support us. Whether we are running a club, or offering other facilities to the community, we do what we do in order to provide better opportunities to those in the community, their families and their friends. We enjoy giving back in whatever form it takes - whether it is our time; on the pitch, in the boardroom or with a guest in the bar - money required to keep sports and clubs thriving or charities supporting and facilities that are designed to enhance peoples lives.

A sense of achievement

With our successes in both in the Junior and Senior Football Clubs, not to mention the tremendous facilities at the Leagues Club, Souths is now recognised as the best provincial Leagues Club in Queensland. We could never have achieved this without the enormous amount of voluntary work done by many people over many years – thank you to all our wonderful volunteers!.

Whatever you’re here for, you’re welcome…

Southern Suburbs Football Club welcomes you to enjoy the facilities. When you next drop by, don’t forget to check out our framed recognition of Life Members, a photo display of Clubhouse History and the Football Jerseys worn by our teams over the years.

Let us entertain you

There’s always something to do at Souths. Whether it’s pints and footy, a coffee (or wine!) with friends, or relaxing in the gaming area; we’ve got you covered. Having fun is in our DNA, so we’re always thinking of new ways for you to get the best out of our time here – we host huge events, and give away great prizes - not to mention our fantastic membership deals and offers. Come in and see what’s on at the Leagues Club and Bowls Club!

Gourmet delights

Our ethos is “great times at great prices - especially when it comes to food. We have several bars, cafes and bistros across our sites, all featuring varied, delicious menus at affordable prices! You’re going to want to come hungry!

A community feel

While we’re proud of our delicious food, extensive range of activities and fantastic facilities, what matters most to us at Souths Mackay is our people. We employ over 100 local team members, who love living, working and playing in Mackay.  We believe that we can best serve you if we’re having fun ourselves and we aren’t satisfied unless you feel like one of family!
